Getting Started on AI: What I learned from Ethan Mollick’s Co-Intelligence
Like many others, I found myself behind on AI. Who doesn’t? This blog is my first major effort to get up to speed and focuses on Ethan Mollick’s book Co-Intelligence. My major takeaways are really two-fold:

Intention and Empathy: A Focus on the Forgotten Ones
This is one of many moments in leadership where we confront paradox. The temptation is to think in either/or terms: task or people, strategy or empathy. But effectiveness comes from both/and thinking. Scholars like Wendy Smith and Marianne Lewis have shown this across multiple domains, and their research has deeply influenced me.

Welcome! A Reintroduction
This is my first blog post in quite a while, and the first for my new website. I’ve imported some earlier posts from my prior site, but this post marks a fresh start: a reintroduction to who I am, what I do, and how I help leaders grow.
Whether you follow along for future posts, reach out for a conversation, end up in one of my university courses, or explore a coaching relationship, my commitment is simple: to draw from a wide range of experience to help you lead more intentionally and empathically, straddling the line between the issues of strategy and people.
